“Thanks for helping me,” she said breathlessly. She knew she had to gather up her sketches and purse, but right this very second she couldn’t do anything else except look into his eyes.
Silence filled the garden. She felt pinned to the spot by his intense gaze, his dark brown eyes backlit by a smoldering warmth. A faint scent of clean hay tantalized her senses.
His head lowered, his mouth descending. Her heartbeat quickened, but she was rooted to the spot. All she could do was watch helplessly as his lips came closer and closer …
His mouth moved over hers. Warmth was the first sensation she registered. His lips tasted and teased, until she was ready to throw her arms around his neck and urge him even closer.
Before she could make a move, it was over. He’d stepped back and straightened up, his mouth nowhere near hers, her lips suddenly bereft.
Mitch gathered up her things lying on the grass and handed them to her, his hands not touching hers - at all. “Are you okay to drive back?” He had a shuttered expression on his face.
“I’ll be fine,” she assured him, although at that very moment she didn’t feel anything but.

Jenn Roseton books are wonderful, you can always count on a beautiful written romance. The fact that her heroines are curvy women just makes them more realistic. Mitch's grumpiness was not match for Sophie's determination to succeed at her landscaping job, and her persistence paid off.
Totally enjoyed watching Mitch, the reclusive writer, find his love. He was so determined NOT to cave, his brothers were constantly interfering and he was darn tired of it. Now all he had to do is fight this electricity flowing between him and Sophie. Really enjoyed this story.
A great book at a special price from kindle western romance. The story was entertaining and exciting to read and enjoy.. The characters were entertaining and very enjoyable to read about. A very unforgettable experience about people finding real love in unexpected ways. A must read.
I really enjoyed reading this final installment of Billionaire Brothers. I loved how Mitch and Sophia's personalities meshed so well. I especially loved the final chapter, where all the brothers, wives and even the grandmother got together for a family reunion. I am looking forward to reading more by this author.
This is an enjoyable sweet series. I try to rate according to similar bodies of work and am harder on more experienced authors. I believe this series reflects a writer beginning to come into her zone. I want to read all her stories because she has good ones and I feel from book 1 to 5 her skill has grown. Treat yourself and read them.
These stories are really simplistic. There is no better way to put it. Have I read better? Yes. But in the grand scheme, these are just sweet little stories. I liked that Mitch was the one super hesitant here. That was a little nice surprise compared to the others in the series.
We have come to the end of the Trask brothers stories and I have to say that I am a little devastated but I will continue reading ANYTHING by Jenn Roseton as she is a great writer!
She writes some really steamy books and I could relate to her heroines as at one time
I was slightly oversized and could never figure what some really good looking guys saw in me. It made me an outcast with the thin cuties. I finally got it though when I met and married my husband 35 years ago and was envied by too many females for my great guy and his picking me for love, friendship and marriage.
I recommend any of her books.
